Service

The LAGC helps improve the lives of under-served women and girls in Los Angeles through direct engagement grant-making to organizations that promote financial independence/self-sufficiency.

Accountability

We are accountable to our partner grantees and the women and girls they serve, as well as to our members, to ensure their donations of time and money are used responsibly as represented by our well-defined, inclusive and thoroughly tested processes.

Commitment

We are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the women and girls in underserved LA communities through direct engagement in the granting process, including generous donations and active volunteerism.

Impact

We support organizations that have life-changing positive impact on the women and girls served. Examples include: a young girl receives mentorship that helps her to go to college; a single mom is taught hands-on skills to achieve a living wage.

Connection

We cultivate meaningful connections amongst members, creating bonds based on shared passion for philanthropy and making a difference.

We also nurture connections with our grantees that go beyond financial support during the granting period, so that we can provide help whenever and however it is needed.
